Balsa Wood Assorted Pack

Balsa wood is a great modelling material for children. This pack contains a mixture of Balsa wood thicknesses and lengths.

It is light and easy to cut but fairly strong. As it is light it great for stacking activities and also floating in water trays.

The contents of the pack can vary but usually contains pieces as follows

6 of 450mm x 15mm x 15mm
3 of 450mm x 100mm x 7mm
3 of 450mm x 100mm x 5mm
3 of 450mm x 100mm x 4mm
3 of 450mm x 100mm x 2mm
3 of 450mm x 75mm x 15mm
3 of 450mm x 75mm x 4mm

You can stick it together with medium PVA or you can use specific Balsa Cement.

Once you have your model it is easy to paint with ready mix poster paint.
