    Product Details

Make your own paint mixes using our 2500 gram bags of colour powder paint.
Powder paints are simple and easy to use, just add small amounts of coloured powder to water and then mix them together until you reach a consistency you are happy with, we recommend that you use a very small amount of water and add the powder to it, one teaspoon full at a time.

    Different Uses of Powder Paint
Powder paints are suited to being mixed together to make any variation of colours you need, you can also adjust the shade of the colours by adding more, or using less of the powdered paint, you could even mix with some PVA to create a glossy finish.

    Why use powder paint?
Powder paint is a great alternative to standard ready mixed paint, as you are free to make the exact amount you need, meaning there is less waste, you'll also find that you will only need a small amount of powder to make quite a lot of paint, which will save you money in the long run, that's why these are a favourite power paint for schools and nurseries.
Powder paints are a great childrens paint as they are a non toxic paint and should easily wash off of skin and hard surfaces, though may stain clothing, so we recommend wearing an apron or old clothes. For ages 3+.

    Ecofriendly packaging
These powder paints come stored in recycled paper bags to cut down on plastic & polythene waste.

    2. How do you mix powder paint?

To mix powder paint, gradually add water to the powder in small amounts while stirring. Adjust the water-to-paint ratio for the desired consistency—thicker for bold applications or thinner for washes.

    3. Is powder paint safe for children?

These powder paints are non-toxic and designed for safe use by children. However you should always supervise younger children during use to avoid ingestion or misuse.

Powder paint works on a variety of surfaces, including:
    Paper
    Cardboard
    Wood
    Fabric

For best results on non-porous surfaces, consider using a primer or base coat.

    5. Can powder paint be used outdoors?

Yes! Powder paint is great for outdoor projects. It's commonly used for:
    Sidewalk art
    Murals
However, keep in mind that outdoor applications may wash away with rain unless sealed.

    6. How should I store powder paint?

Store powder paint in a cool, dry place in its original packaging or in an airtight container. Keep it away from moisture to prevent clumping.
